Information – The Shantipur Festival, just after Ekadashi, is a cherished celebration of kirtan, prasadam, and devotion, continuing the legacy of Sri Advaita Acharya. This festival, originating in the 15th century, honors the Disappearance Day of Srila Madhavendra Puri. ISKCON Mayapur devotees will distribute Khichri prasadam to atleast 50,000 villagers in Shantipur, following Advaita Acharya’s tradition of serving all with love. The event takes place in the mango grove near his historic home, where a large outdoor kitchen is set up to prepare prasadam. This sacred gathering offers an opportunity to chant, serve, and receive divine mercy in the association of devotees. 🙏
