Help Preserve the History of the Deities of Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma
Srila Prabhupada, “Mayapur is for worship of the Supreme Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.”
My name is Nandan dāsa, and I serve in the ISKCON Mayapur Master Plan Office. I am currently documenting the history of the Deities of Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma as part of the CONNECT with Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma project. The aim is to preserve the authentic history of the Deities for future generations.
We are currently researching:
- Arrival of the Deities in Māyāpur
- Sculptors and places of manifestation
- Historical photographs and videos
- Early worship and travels of the Deities
- Installation dates of Śrīla Prabhupāda mūrtis in Māyāpur
- Senior devotees who witnessed these events
We would be deeply grateful for any information you may have, including old photographs, video recordings, newspaper or magazine articles, personal recollections, the names of devotees who participated in these events, or references to senior devotees with firsthand knowledge.
Even a small detail can be valuable. If you know someone who may have this information, we would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly share this request with them. Every lead helps us verify and preserve the authentic history of Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma. All information received will be carefully reviewed and verified before publication.
