Feeling destitute. I will wander in the forest of Madhyadvipa at midday, meditating on the emotional states of the Lord.
Then the residents of Madhyadvipa will be merciful and show me: “See, here is our Lord Gauranga, dancing with His associates in a grand kirtana in Brahmanagara on the bank of Brahma-kuṇḍa.”
When will I see that astounding long-armed golden form of Gaura, wearing a garland of forest flowers and loudly calling out. “O brothers, everyone together, chant the holy name!”
Just then, Śrīvāsa and the devotees will begin sankirtana. chanting. “Hari! Hari!” Some others may chant. “O brother. chant Gaurahari’s name! Without Gauranga one cannot attain the service of Radha and Kṛṣṇa.”
(Sri Navadvipa Bhava-taranga)
After favoring the saints, Prabhu disappeared. They felt very sorry due to his disappearance and left that place. They went to Kumāra-haṭṭa on the bank of the Ganges, which was very suitable for their establishment, and decided to stay there. That place became famous as the Sapta-ṛṣi Ghāṭa. This place had become famous by the name of Madhyadvīpa because Prabhu had appeared here like the midday sun. The saints who had been engaged in meditation here had kept its name as Madhyadvīpa, which could vanquish all misfortunes. Due to the sport of Gaurāṅga here, it has become famous in the world.
(Bhakti-ratnākara by Sri Narahari Cakravarti, Chapter 12)
May the Lord’s wonderful pastimes in Madhyadvipa be kind to me. May Brahma-kunda and the other sacred places there be kind to me, a fool. May the kalpa-valli vine of the kindness of He who is everyone’s friend and who plays in Madhyadvipa at midday, bear its fruits.

When, wandering day and night through the valleys of Madhyadvipa, on the pathways through the various pastime forest-groves, through groves of newly-blossoming kadamba trees, and through the beautiful places where of the räsa-dance pastimes, will I become fortunate, intimate spiritual love for the divine couple shining within me?
