Mayapur Meditations

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura writes in Sri Navadvipa Dhama Mahatmya, “What one attains by traveling to all the holy places is attained just by remembering Navadvipa.”

Srila Prabhupada writes, “The transcendental vibration from the mouth of a pure devotee is so powerful that it can revive the living entity’s memory of his eternal relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead…As expressed in a song by Ṭhākura Bhaktivinoda, Lord Caitanya says, jīva jāga, jīva jāga. The Lord asks every sleeping living entity to get up and engage in devotional service so that his mission in this human form of life may be fulfilled. This awakening voice comes through the mouth of a pure devotee. (SB 4.20.25 purport)”

Mayapur Meditations is designed as a daily meditation experience to help devotees regularly hear the transcendental sound vibration of our Founder-Acarya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, connected to the teachings and mission of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Through daily remembrance of Sri Mayapur-dhama, devotees can receive the causeless mercy of Sri Mayapur-dhama through hearing, chanting, remembrance, and reflection.

This project is developed as a collection of 30 daily meditation pages — one for each day of the month. Each meditation page may include:

  • Photo for darshan and remembrance
  • Srila Prabhupada audio with transcript
  • Quote of the day
  • Links for further reading and exploration

Whether one is physically present in Sri Mayapur-dhama or remembering the dhama from afar, these meditations are intended to help cultivate a deeper daily connection with the mercy, teachings, and spiritual atmosphere of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s eternal abode.
