Inspired by this instruction, the ISKCON Mayapur Master Plan Office is developing an interactive online map documenting the worldwide growth of ISKCON from 1966 to 2026. The interactive digital map features temple websites, Deity darśanas, and Google Maps locations.

This is a humble offering to showcase how Srila Prabhupada and his followers are fulfilling the prediction of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu by spreading His teachings throughout the world.

Centres Opened During Śrīla Prabhupāda's Presence (1966–1977)

During the physical presence of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) expanded from a small storefront in New York City into a worldwide spiritual movement. By November 1977, more than 109 ISKCON centres had been established across six continents, fulfilling the prediction of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and laying the foundation for the global Hare Krishna movement.

Śrīla Prabhupāda's Worldwide Travels (1966–1977)

His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda traveled tirelessly across six continents to establish the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and fulfill the prediction of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu by spreading the chanting of the holy names throughout the world. Between 1966 and 1977, he visited hundreds of cities, inspired thousands of devotees, established temples, delivered lectures, and transformed countless lives through his teachings.

Hear the original words of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma
(CB Antya-khaṇḍa 4.126)
Means that, “As many villages and towns are there on the surface of the globe, everywhere this Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra will be preached.” So this Hare Kṛṣṇa movement, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness, has just begun. You will see in future, in every village, every town, they’ll chant and dance. So it is the Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s prediction that is being fulfilled. Nobody can check it.
